Lily’s recycling argument

Happenings in Room 6 November 26th, 2010

Recycling

Why not recycle? You can put rubbish in a bin so why not a recycling bin?Do you even know what happens if you DON’T recycle?

Well I’ll tell you.

Firstly we’re putting so much litter over the place that the islands like Fiji and Samoa are slowly getting covered up by water because of so much litter in the sea. Who’d want our most beautiful islands covered up?

Secondly we might have to walk ankle deep in rubbish. Who’d want that?

Thirdly trees are getting wasted on paper so if we recycled we can use paper for something else too.

So lets get recycling Kilbirnie school!

market night 2010

Happenings in Room 6 November 18th, 2010

Tonight is market night and everybody is looking forward to it. kilbirnie school has a market every year to gather up money to buy resources for the school. In market night there lots of activities for kids to join in to. Each activity cost a certain amount of money and at the end of market night the teachers gather up all the money into one place, count it, then they use the money to buy computers, projectors, dictionaries and much more.

Leos fire work argument.

Happenings in Room 6 November 18th, 2010

in my opinion i believe that we should have no fire works.
Firstly with fire works criminals or gangs could get hold of them and could use them for bad vandilism.
Secondly fire works can blind people and they are very noisy, so they can deafen people too.
thirdly if you get to close to a fire work your clothes could catch fire and that hurts you bad!
lastly when you launch a fire work the amazing fire work is safe in the air but when the huge caps come down they could hurt nature.

do you agree?
